We’re excited to announce that the Preorder Open Beta servers are scheduled to open on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Noon PT / 3pm ET! Let the fireworks begin!
We also have a fun livestream event planned for Friday, July 3, at Noon PT / 3pm ET, with special guests Sslipknot and Chalkmarrow, along with Sysyphus, Moth, and Brasse. We’ll be recounting tales of the past, talking about the plans we have for the future, and sharing how an all-Iksar PVP guild called Harbingers of Thule served as the original inspiration for EverQuest Legends.
As we prepare to open the Preorder Beta servers, I’d like to encourage everybody to have fun and be patient. We will do our best to manage the traffic as folks enter the game, but you should reasonably expect that there may be some delays at peak times over the weekend.
And while the game is very close to launch ready, this is still a beta, and we are continuing to do balance passes, completing new features (like spell upgrades), revamping dungeons, and fixing bugs. The game is already amazing, and it’s only going to get better. To that end, we’ll be releasing a post-launch roadmap soon, which will outline the plans we have for housing, a player auction house, Nektropos Castle in the fall, Kunark in the winter, and much more.
Finally, I want to express how excited we are for everybody to join us in the game. Daybreak and Game Jawn have worked incredibly hard to bring you a new way of experiencing Norrath. Our goals from the beginning were to capture the feeling of original EverQuest while respecting your time and accommodating as many different playstyles as possible. I believe we’ve hit the mark, and we can’t wait to explore the world of Norrath and the future of EverQuest Legends with all of you.
